Westin Creates a Tech Oasis in Lobby

| September 18, 2013

The Westin Harbour Castle recently embraced the new Westin Haven initiative and moved their ElevenGC computer solution into the lobby. The Westin Haven is a public space concept inspired by nature that allows travelers to “stay balanced, refreshed and connected on the road.”

In partnership with Eleven, Westin’s preferred provider of its Haven solution, the Westin Harbour Castle moved their iMac guest computers into the lobby, creating a tech oasis where guests can access email while reviving with coffee, food, or a glass of wine brought to them by helpful wait staff.

Eleven’s ability to provide limited complimentary access for guests along with both credit card and bill-to-room payment options was a key factor in the hotel’s careful selection of a guest computer provider. Now, The Westin Harbor Castle Haven can capture a new market of on-the-go travelers by coupling access to technology with a revitalizing atmosphere.

In an environment of constant change, The Westin Harbour Castle manages to innovate without losing sight of their gold standard of service.
