Pita Pit Debuts Integrated Gift Card & Loyalty Point Program this Holiday Season

Pita Pit USA announced the creation of a new nationwide gift card and loyalty program just in time for the holiday shopping season.

Known as the "PIT Card," it is an integrated gift and loyalty card program, with one card acting as both a traditional gift card and a loyalty point system. It can be loaded with any prepaid amount or simply used to accumulate points towards future purchases with every swipe.

"The implementation of this program in time for Christmas is exciting for the Pita Pit as a national community," says Peter Riggs, VP of Pita Pit USA. "The PIT Card lets us reward our loyal customers with fantastic discounts and promotions, and can also be used as a gift that truly keeps on giving."

While the program is a nationwide offering, it will also provide each individual restaurant the flexibility to localize the program to its specific market.

Developed in partnership with Heartland-Chockstone, an industry leader in gift and loyalty card programs, the PIT Card program has been a long-term goal for the Pita Pit that has now come to fruition. PIT Cards are on sale now at participating locations, with an automatic ten-percent bonus on the purchase amount if bought before December 31st.

The Pita Pit was recently named one of Restaurant Business Magazine's "Future 50" fastest-growing small chains in the United States. It was also ranked one of the Top 100 Global Franchises in 2009 by Franchise Direct, as well as appearing on Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500 list and the INC. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies for the past three years.
