Millennium's Brand Standardization Strategy Begins with US Micros Installation

Millennium Hotels and Resorts announces that it has selected MICROS OPERA as the standard property management solution (PMS) and MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) as the standard food and beverage point-of-sale solution for its 14 Millennium Hotel properties located in the United States. MICROS OPERA will be deployed and centrally hosted in the MICROS Data Center located in Ashburn, Virginia.

"Understanding that much of our technology infrastructure requires upgrading, MICROS offers us a great value proposition with the centrally hosted model of MICROS OPERA," states John Edwards, director of IS&T, Millennium Hotels.

Millennium Hotels has properties located all over the world employing various versions of MICROS PMS and POS solutions. Millennium Hotels' long-term strategy is to standardize the technology at all of its hotels, allowing information to be shared and consolidated to enhance the overall guest experience of its clientele worldwide.
