London Hotel Seeks RevPar Gains with RMS
The Kingsley by Thistle has joined the ranks of hotels worldwide that use the EzRMS product suite, now an Infor company. Located in Bloomsbury, The Kingsley (formerly Thistle Bloomsbury) hotel near Covent Garden, the British Museum and Oxford Street, is a four-star hotel offering 129 bedrooms. The hotel is located on the Northern, Central and Piccadilly Underground Lines, near Holborn and Tottenham Court Road stations, making it an ideal base for business meetings and special events.
The main challenge for Guoman & Thistle Hotels was around the manual forecasting processes and how the high level of uncertainty in the manual forecasts meant never being100% confident in pricing decisions. The process of setting rates and availability was also highly manual and therefore time consuming.
