Carlson Upgrades Data Management at T.G.I. Friday's

Carlson Restaurants Worldwide announces that beginning April 1, 2007, Micros' centrally hosted application was seamlessly installed at all 300 company-owned United States T.G.I. Friday's restaurant brand.

The solution offers a content-rich Internet portal that includes access to hosted applications for point-of-sale, data warehousing, business intelligence and other business applications and content and has provided T.G.I. Friday's restaurants with a reliable means to monitor its sales volume and manage other key restaurant operations.

"After evaluating multiple technology providers, we found that Micros offered the solution that best fit our specific operational requirements," states Don Vietti, CIO of Carlson Restaurants Worldwide. "In the past, we were unable to generate data as quickly as we'd like, but in T.G.I. Friday's fast-paced environment we require technology that enables us to pull the check detail at a moments notice. satisfies this critical requirement."
