Back-of-House Upgrade Yields Efficiencies for Twisted Root Burger Co

Twisted Root Burger Co., the Dallas-based, award-winning restaurant brand has partnered with Restaurant Technologies for 11 new total oil management solution installations. The burger joint reports several successes to its back-of-house operations. 
 
Twisted Root is an energetic, burger-loving restaurant in the heart of Dallas and boasts the Dallas Observer’s Best Burger Award 2008-2015. Featured on the Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,” the first Twisted Root restaurant opened in 2005 and has won many awards, including Best Creative and Vegetarian Burger in Dallas-Fort Worth, and named as having one of the top 10 turkey burgers in the United States. “The expectations to maintain excellent food quality have exponentially increased since being featured on the Food Network,” said Lauren McMillan, marketing director of Twisted Root. “Efficient, consistent and safe back-of-house operations are critical to maintaining the standards that lead to award-winning restaurants.”
 
In addition to maintaining food quality, the Restaurant Technologies system has helped Twisted Root keep its curb appeal across its establishments, which are primarily located in high-end shopping centers. “The last thing anyone wants to see are huge tanks of cooking oil being transported through the parking lot,” said McMillan. “Now we can keep things simple and clean.”
 
Twisted Root anticipates a network-wide installation of the Restaurant Technologies oil management system in the future.
