Dragontail Systems Partners with Valqari To Enable Drone Deliveries

Dragontail Systems Limited, a software company that optimizes the entire restaurant order and delivery process for global brands,  announced a partnership with Valqari LLC, a drone logistics solutions start-up. The partnership will be working on enabling the complete contactless delivery by drone.

It is proposed that autonomous drones will be deployed through the Algo Dispatching System, a platform that uses AI-based technology to optimize and manage the entire food preparation process from order to delivery. The drones will drop off strategically coordinated orders from restaurant kitchens to remote landing stations, which will be located in key locations from parking lots to service stations, where they will be picked up by delivery drivers or consumers for that last inch delivery connection. Valqari's Drone Delivery Station will provide a secure and convenient delivery receptacle at each location, meaning drivers will not need to “catch the food” by waiting under the drones (and risk contact with propellers, etc.). The food will be delivered straight into lockers where it will be kept hot, fresh, and safe.

Dragontail Systems provides restaurants with a range of holistic solutions that optimize the entirety of the ordering and delivery process from start to finish. The Algo Dispatching System automates and streamlines the kitchen flow, enhancing the food preparation processes from immediately after an order is received through the POS system.

Valqari is the owner of several key patents within the drone delivery logistics system. Valqari’s drone delivery solution has solved the last inch logistic problems with a Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox. This receptacle provides a secure and convenient delivery receptacle for both drone and traditional deliveries.

The combined system will ensure the end-customer will receive a high-quality order by integrating the food preparation process with the autonomous drone deliveries to secure Landing Stations to enable minimum delay and waste throughout the system. This process will increase the effectiveness of drivers as they make multiple short delivery trips, rather than long trips to restaurants and dark kitchens. It is also safer, as it reduces physical contact with kitchen staff.
