Keynote Speakers Announced for HTF 2012

3/15/2012
Hospitality Technology magazine has announced the keynote speaker to kick off its 8th Annual Hotel Technology Forum (HTF). Bill Garcia, managing partner of TableForce, will make the keynote address on Thursday, April 19, at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas.

Garcia is a partner in TableForce, along with Mike Inman and Mark Kenczyk. The company specializes in negotiation and consulting. Garcia's keynote address, “The Art of Negotiation: Expectation Impacts Outcome,” will discuss how to effectively increase personal ability to negotiate as well as how to more effectively negotiate for an organization. Attendees will learn effective planning tips and at-the-table techniques that will empower them to achieve more through negotiation without damaging relationships. This is a subject that Garcia is well-versed in as a negotiator and negotiation trainer, having worked in both sales and purchasing.

The second day keynote speech will be given by Bruce Hoffmeister, Global CIO, Marriot International. Hoffmeister will discuss “Management Excellence for IT Leaders.” This session will dig deep into many of the issues facing IT leaders and offer insight for creating departmental excellence, particularly as marketing and IT departments require increased inter-dependence.
