User-Friendly POS Streamlines Ops for Water Park

Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas, a new multimillion dollar venue and Nevada's largest water park, has selected the InfoGenesis POS solution from Agilysys to streamline food and beverage operations and enhance guest service. The park opened Memorial Day weekend.
 
Agilysys InfoGenesis POS is award-winning point-of-sale software that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with a fast, intuitive and easy-to-use terminal application. The flexible system is easy to set up, and its scalable architecture enables customers to add workstations without having to build out expensive infrastructure. It also integrates easily with other applications, such as gift card and guest management solutions. The system's detailed and high-quality reporting capabilities give  insight into sales data and guest purchasing trends. Other features include packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture and multi-language capability. InfoGenesis POS is available as an on-premise solution or through a subscription service.
 
The recently released InfoGenesis POS v4.4 is built on a simplified architecture and features a number of infrastructure enhancements, including certification on Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 R2 and Microsoft SQL Server® 2008 R2. The solution also incorporates SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for maximum flexibility when creating reports. Its terminals are certified POSReady 7, which eases connectivity to Windows® and simplifies deployment and management. Other enhancements include increased single check tender support, an enhanced kitchen video interface, inclusive gratuity configuration and MasterCard® partial authorization mandate support.
 
Wet 'n' Wild Las Vegas is Nevada's largest water park, with more than 25 exhilarating attractions ranging from extreme water slides, including North America's first-of-its-kind three-person Rattler, to family-friendly interactive play areas. The multimillion dollar park is ideally located in southwest Las Vegas on a parcel of land leased from The Howard Hughes Corporation. Project investors include Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, Dr. Steven and Karen Thomas of the Thomas and Mack families of Las Vegas, Roger and Scott Bulloch of SPB Partners and Australian entertainment conglomerate Village Roadshow Limited, which also manages the park.
