Travco Group to Rollout Complete Enterprise Software Solution to 135 Hotels

Travco Group, manager of a chain of hotels and resorts under the Jaz, Sol Y Mar, Iberotel, and newly acquired Steigenberger Hotels AG brands, has signed an exclusive vendor agreement with MICROS in November of 2010.  The agreement is for the installation of the OPERA Property Management System (OPERA PMS), OPERA Reservation System (ORS), OPERA Customer Information System (OCIS) and Sales Force Automation (SFA), OPERA Business Intelligence (OBI), OPERA Sales and Catering (OPERA S&C), and OPERA Materials Control (MC), as well as various MICROS restaurant point-of-sale systems depending on the hotel brand.
 
MICROS will provide Travco and its 135 hotels worldwide with a complete enterprise software solution for the hotel and resort industry, comprised of several fully integrated modules to manage Travco’s vast operations and provide seamless information sharing. The OPERA Enterprise Solution allows multiple properties to operate on one database creating a single image inventory, reducing the total cost of ownership for Travco.
