Two major players in the payment space announced a partnership to improve mobile payment integration; a provider of iPad POS solutions integrates loyalty programs directly into the iPad POS and a major hotel has rolled out a solution to help travelers make mobile reservations quickly and easily. iPad POS Announces Integrated Loyalty Program And Gift Card Features
At the Retail Solutions Providers Association's RetailNOW2013 conference and expo, Revel Systems Inc., the provider of iPad point-of-sale solutions for restaurant, retail and grocery, highlights the system's latest features for retailers, including loyalty programs and gift card features that are directly integrated into the iPad POS. As part of this push, Revel has also announced a partnership with LoyalTree, creator of the nation's leading mobile-to-POS consumer loyalty solutions. This partnership enables retailers and other business owners to seamlessly integrate LoyalTree directly into Revel's POS system for fast and easy setup for the business owner and ease of use for the consumer.

SONIC Standardizes on MICROS for POS & Back-Office
SONIC Corp. the nation's largest chain of drive-in restaurants with over 3,500 locations, has selected MICROS as its strategic enterprise solution partner. Included in the solution is MICROS’ point-of-sale for drive-in transactions, as well as MICROS’ enterprise solution including Enterprise Management, Enterprise Inventory and Labor, Business Intelligence, and Loss Prevention systems for above drive-in operations. This enterprise solution will be provided in a SaaS model providing an economic and streamlined approach for SONIC and its franchisees to deploy and maintain its technology.

New POS Software Boasts Greater Flexibility for Mobility and Security
ParTech, Inc. (PAR), a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation has announced the availability of its latest release of PAR EverServ® PixelPoint® V12 point-of-sale (POS) software.
