will implement the IDeaS
Revenue Management System (RMS) within six Thompson Hotel properties in the U.S. The move kicks off a company-wide initiative to automate revenue management processes for increased profitability across all Thompson properties through 2012 and 2013. The IDeaS RMS met the hotel’s automation needs for increased operational efficiency, and provides the critical data points needed to enhance its presence in the marketplace.
Since its inception in 2001 with 60 Thompson in New York, Thompson Hotels has been rapidly expanding to include 12 luxury lifestyle hotels in prime vacation destinations, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Toronto and London. In February, the company announced its merge with Joie de Vivre Hospitality to become Commune Hotels & Resorts, which manages 47 properties under the distinctive Thompson and Joie de Vivre brands.
