The Mirage Hotel & Casino to Offer Upgraded In-Room Entertainment
The Mirage in Las Vegas is helping guests stay connected with the installation of nearly 3,000 of TeleAdapt's MediaHub connectivity panels, one in each hotel room, as part of the resort's comprehensive room re-design project.
With the MediaHub, guests of The Mirage can fill a room with their own music, videos, pictures, games and more simply by plugging in and playing their personal media devices through the hotel room television. The MediaHub provides hotel room guests an in-room connection point where they can seamlessly connect their laptop, iPod, MP3 player, iPhone, digital camera, PDA, camcorder, DVD player and game console to the hotel room TV and sound system.
TeleAdapt's MediaHub, MediaHub Extender and MediaHub HD provide easy-to-use audio/video connection ports to seamlessly turn the hotel room television and surround sound into a personal viewing screen/sound system. Specifications include:
- Ports: Composite audio/video, S-video, mini-stereo jack, VGA (RGB), HDMI, USB (5v) power
- Passive: Input switching via channels or input button on remote conrol
- Active: Auto sensing and switching of inputs
- Variety of bezel shapes and finishes
- Power and data outlets (Extender version)
- Single HDMI cable connection to the TV with Bluetooth capabilities (MediaHub HD version)
