Thai Hotel Mgmt Group Renews Global Marketing & Distribution Contract to Strengthen Future Biz Opportunities

Amari has chosen to extend its 25-year long relationship with Utell Hotels & Resorts to continue to be the provider of choice for global sales, marketing and distribution for six of its properties located across Thailand.

Amari's renewed contract means they will benefit from Utell's comprehensive suite of hospitality business generating solutions. This includes full representation on the GDS under Utell's UI code, through Utell's global call center network and UtellAgent.com. In addition to Utell's expertise in extensive global marketing, sales and distribution programs, Amari also benefits from attracting valuable business through Utell's strength of preferred partnerships and programs in international TMC (Travel Management Companies), OTAs (Online Travel Agencies) and global corporate markets. Supplementary services used by Amari include Performance Tracker, Utell's reporting tool that provides reservations business analysis, and Travelcom, Utell's commission processing system that allows payment of agency fees in multiple currencies.

"Amari is a long-term partner of Utell. We value the relationship for a variety of reasons: strong distribution platform, excellent customer service support and a strong and reputable brand that the travel trade is familiar with. We look forward to working with the Utell team to develop our business further in the years to come," says Duncan Webb, CMO, Amari.

Established in 1965, Amari's network of 11 Thai properties span the country, from scenic seaside and mountain locations to vibrant urban settings. As one of the few privately held local hospitality brands, employing more than 4,000 people throughout the country, Amari has boosted tourism in emerging destinations, such as Koh Chang, as well as in Thailand's most well-known locations, including Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Krabi, Koh Samui, Phuket, Koh Chang and Bangkok. After nearly four decades of achievement and growth in Thailand, Amari is poised to become a leading player in the Asia Pacific hospitality market, with plans to expand its network to countries including China, Japan, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Middle East and Australia.
