has added a mobile booking app to its spa and activity software Reservation Assistant. The app allows spa guests to book spa treatments and buy vouchers or products via smartphones and any mobile device such as iPads, and iPhones. Customers can also purchase items or make reservations on Facebook.
Whenever a guest makes a reservation via the mobile app, Reservation Assistant automatically adapts the employee shift schedules and the floor plans. In order to avoid no-shows, Reservation Assistant reminds the guests of their appointments by SMS.
Vouchers that are bought over the mobile app can be customized with an individual message and presented as a gift by email. The presentee either prints the voucher at home or opens it on a smartphone and redeems it at the next visit in the spa. A barcode that is printed on the voucher protects the spa against fraud and double redemption.
