Amadeus, a technology and distribution solutions for the travel and tourism industry, and StarCite, Inc. a provider of Web-based solutions that help companies strategically manage corporate meetings and events, ink an agreement to provide integrated online travel management and meeting management services to corporations.
StarCite will integrate its corporate enterprise meetings management platform with Amadeus e-Travel Management, a travel management solution that serves every aspect of corporations' travel needs through a single entry point, to enable corporations to effectively manage all aspects of the event/meetings process.
StarCite provides an online software platform for enterprise meetings management that helps organizations bring visibility, savings, and control to corporate meetings and event spend. With StarCite, companies can manage and report on every aspect of the meeting planning process including meeting requests and approvals, online sourcing for meeting destinations, budgeting, and online attendee management.
Through this new integration, meeting attendees will be able to book travel on Amadeus e-Travel Management directly from the StarCite Attendee Management application when they are registering for a meeting. The new travel booking feature is expected to be available to customers by year-end.
