Sports Arena Increases Bottom Line with New POS

6/12/2012
Village of Bridgeview, the owner and management company of Toyota Park, has selected a fully integrated MICROS point-of-sale solution for the stadium, home to the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. Toyota Park is a Chicago-based stadium which hosts a wide array of sporting and entertainment events for the area. The solution includes MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) with 92 Keyboard Workstation 270 (KW270) POS terminals for concession operations, 5 Workstation 5A (WS5A) touchscreen terminals for premium operations, and the MICROS Perpetual Inventory and Event Management Solution for increased control of operations.

With high maintenance and support costs for Toyota Park’s legacy POS solution, the Village of Bridgeview selected MICROS technology to help streamline operations, reduce the cost of overall system support, increase the bottom line, and improve the fan experience. The MICROS solution provides Toyota Park with a more reliable technology solution with hardware that uses standard TCP/IP Ethernet Topology, reduced overall maintenance costs, and expedited service with a local MICROS service and support team. Fans will also benefit from the new MICROS solution at Toyota Park with increased speed-of-service at the venue and a future offering of stored-value ticketing and other loyalty solutions.
