Ronald McDonald House Automates Communication to Streamline Maintenance and Requests

5/14/2013
hotel SystemsPro has donated its hotel ServicePro Computer Maintenance Management System to seven Ronald McDonald Houses across the Eastern US. The system automates the communication, maintenance scheduling, tracking and reporting of safety requirements, preventive maintenance, guest requests, equipment management, capital expenditure and property improvement.

The ServicePro system is perfect for facility maintenance and communications between my 19 operations staff. Ronald McDonald House Greater Cincinnati uses the system to log and track maintenance activity and capture repair requests during a shift. The incoming part-time teams access the system from home before they arrive so they know what needs to be accomplished and can get to work faster. The RMHC in Greater Cincinnati offers 78 bedrooms for children and their families.

Ronald McDonald House Charities makes an immediate, positive impact on children’s lives through its global network of Chapters in 57 countries and regions and through three core programs: Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. RMHC awards grants to other nonprofit organizations that align with its mission to positively impact the health and well being of children. It is also committed to education. Local Chapters award thousands of scholarships each year through RMHC U.S. Scholarships to students entering college across the United States.
