Ravens Score New Point of Sale Solution

The Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League have partnered with Micros Systems (micros.com) to implement Micros 9700 Hospitality Management System throughout the stadium's 130 plus food and beverage outlets, including the stadium concession outlets and the club level.

M&T Bank Stadium, built in 1996, will be replacing its current point-of-sale system in the concession outlets with 320 Micros Workstation 4s with full POS functionality, in a highly durable and low cost keyboard package. The stadium's club level will deploy 73 touch-screen Micros Workstation 4's, and 25 Mobile Micros hand-held terminals for the 8,000 plus fans that use the Seat Side Service.

"The Baltimore Ravens desired a partner with a proven track record of success in the stadium marketplace, with whom it can grow and expand," states Dennis Mannion, senior VP, business ventures of the Baltimore Ravens. "We needed a company that could meet our current business needs as well as provide a solution that will meet our future growth plans. MICROS is the perfect fit for our complex needs and environment."
