QSR International, has debuted a mobile rewards app and web site from Punchh. The app, called Smart Club, has debuted in Spanish and is currently available for QSR International’s restaurants within Costa Rica, including 32 KFC’s, 28 Quiznos, two Smashburgers, and five Teriyaki Experience units. For 2015, QSR International has plans to roll out the mobile rewards app and web site to its restaurants in an additional 14 countries in which it currently operates.
Punchh increases mobile consumer engagement with its cloud-based POS-integrated platform. Smart Club gives guests the ability to earn and redeem rewards for each restaurant brand based on what tier they achieve based on their spending levels, as well as provide real-time feedback to the operator. The app also gives customers the chance to post reviews and share them with their social media network through Punchh’s social media integration capabilities. Aside from making purchases to collect points, guests can play an in-app game where they can catch falling food items to earn additional points for more rewards.
