Online Ordering Service Extends Reach to NYC Restaurateurs

KlickKitchen, an online order entry system designed for foodservice professionals, is now available in the New York Metro area. This technology-based, 24/7 system streamlines the communications process between chefs and vendors by organizing, processing, and sorting orders efficiently and consistently. 
  
Some of KlickKitchen's benefits to chefs and merchants include:

  • Chefs and restaurants can now easily order ingredients and provisions from their current merchants and discover new ones;
  • Merchants can make their products available to a much larger audience with minimal effort;
  • And for both audiences, KlickKitchen reduces error, streamlines paper, and ultimately minimizes waste that is often the result of an inaccurate order.

The technology is easy to use, requiring chefs to simply "klick" to sign-up, find their vendors, and build their orders from the merchants they trust. Already 75 vendors and dozens of chefs are participating. The site receives over 2,000 unique visitors a month.

The company is anticipating regional roll-outs for the remainder of 2008 with a national platform thereafter.
