New Hotspot Gets Reservations, Table Management Combo

| July 10, 2007

Kingston Taphouse & Grill, one of Vancouver's newest unique venues, has turned to Squirrel Systems and OpenTable for an integrated reservation, table management and point of sale system.

The integration between SquirrelOne and OpenTable provides real-time updates of table status information from the SquirrelOne point of sale system to OpenTable. This allows hosting staff to better manage waitlist, resulting in more accurate wait time predictions and more satisfied guess.

"We really find the Squirrel System easy to use and with the seamless integration to OpenTable it allows us to focus on the finer details of the guest experience," says Ron MacGillivray, General Manager of the Kingston Taphouse & Grill. "The Kingston is a very unique dining concept in the city and we find that OpenTable's popularity assists us in attracting new guests. With the SquirrelOne platform and OpenTable we are able to better manage the guest experience in our challenging multi-floor layout."
