Mews Tavern Gets POS Overhaul

Mews Tavern of Wakefield, Rhode Island will undergo a nine workstation installation that includes SquirrelOne Point of Sale, Squirrel Time & Attendance, Waitlist, Gift Card & Loyalty as well as Optimum Control Pro for inventory control and Mercury Payments for payment processing.

Owners David Barnes and Dan Rubino indicated that their antiquated point of sale system was hindering their staff of 60 servers and managers from efficiently performing their duties.

Says vice president and co-owner Rubino, "There were many reasons for selecting SquirrelOne but with over 60 staff to train, this system is the easiest that we've seen to learn and use. We also love the fact that changes can be made in real-time from any terminal in the restaurant."
