McDonald's to Roll out Contactless Payments in 1,200 UK Stores

According to a new article published by ComputerWeekly.com, fast-food restaurant chain, McDonald's, will roll out contactless payments in all of its 1,200 UK stores by the end of October.
 
McDonald's claims that the payment system, which will be launched by the end of this summer, will be one of the largest roll-outs of contactless technology in the UK.
 
Jill McDonald, CEO of McDonald's UK, said, "We were the first major quick-service restaurant to launch payment by cards and we're delighted to be leading the way again with the roll-out of contactless payment technology."
