McDonald's CIO Joins Payments Panel at MURTEC

Entering its 18th year, Hospitality Technology's Multi-Unit Restaurant Technology Conference will take place March 13-15 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The event brings together more than 550 industry executives -- including restaurant technology, finance, and operations professionals and technology solution providers -- for three days of peer-to-peer exchange of ideas and best practices.

The first day will include an exciting session entitled, “Future of Payments,” moderated by senior vice president & CIO of the National Restaurant Association, Dave Matthews. With significant changes coming to the payment landscape, a panel of executives takes the stage to discuss what restaurant operators can do to prepare. They'll cover deadlines, strategic planning, opportunities and even some specific solutions. Topics include: mobile payments, EMV payments, point-to-point encryption, and more.

Matthews will be joined by a panel of industry experts, comprised of: Roxanne Amidon, Director, Technology Strategy & Planning, The Wendy's Company; Mark Horwedel, CEO, Merchant Advisory Group; Frank Liberio, Vice President & CIO US McDonalds, McDonalds Corporation; and Robert Notte, Chief Technology Officer, Jamba Juice.

MURTEC® is the must-attend event for staying abreast of technology innovation and industry trends, for both operators and vendors alike. Lauded by attendees as the "gold standard" for restaurant technology insight, MURTEC® offers both compelling educational sessions and top-notch networking opportunities.
