May's POS Recap: iPads, Mobile Payments and More

What topics were top-of-mind in May? Mobility, for one, proved to dominate headlines with announcements coming from Pizza Hut, Micros, Squirrel and Google. Meanwhile, a number of operators have entered into the online ordering arena, including McDonald’s and White Castle. And lastly, vendors continue to back on the iPad, as shown during the 2011 National Restaurant Association conference.
