Marriott International Signs Multi-Year Agreement with Expedia

Marriott International, Inc. announces a new multi-year agreement with Expedia that extends one of the longest running strategic relationships in the online travel industry.

This longstanding business arrangement gives Marriott properties access to Expedia's extensive targeted promotional and merchandising opportunities to reach travelers throughout Europe, Asia and North America. Marriott's properties also benefit from direct access to Expedia's global travel marketplace through ExpediaConnect, the technology solution for chain hotels to connect directly into Expedia's global marketplace.

Marriott properties are consistently among the highest rated in the world by Expedia customers. In 2008 alone, 90 Marriott-branded properties were recognized on the Expedia Insiders' Select list, a ranking of the world's best hotels.
