Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants Leverages Sabre for Comprehensive Marketing & Distribution

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has selected Sabre Hospitality Solutions as its provider of distribution and marketing solutions. Kimpton's 49 hotels across the United States will use the Sabre Hospitality Solutions' SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) for connectivity to all channels including Global Distribution Systems, Online Travel Websites and direct voice reservations. Kimpton will also use the Guest Connect booking engine to enhance its website's merchandising capabilities while adding mobile booking functionality.

Sabre Hospitality Solutions' Guest Connect represents an enhancement to Kimpton's online booking engine and gives each hotel complete control of the customization process. Additionally, features such as: instantaneous rate availability, promotional pricing, dynamic packaging, unlimited descriptive content, image distribution and increased marketing capabilities via email confirmations and guest communication were important to Kimpton's decision to switch to Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

"After careful evaluation of the vendors, we determined that Sabre Hospitality Solutions was a great fit for Kimpton Hotels based on technology, integration with our partners and valuable functionality for our guests," says Kathleen Reidenbach, vice president, Revenue Management & Distribution for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. "There are numerous reasons for our selection but it came down to their experience in the market and the breadth of Sabre Hospitality's complete end-to-end solutions."

Based on the needs of the marketplace, Sabre Hospitality Solutions has invested significant resources on building strategic relationships with the industry's leading technology providers. Among the many reasons cited for selecting Sabre Hospitality Solutions was the seamless connectivity between the SynXis CRS and Kimpton's existing technology including its property management systems, revenue management systems and customer relationship management systems. Hoteliers benefit from this integration with streamlined operations, single-image of inventory, cost savings and better customer service.

"We are thrilled to be working with a company whose culture and values closely align with Kimpton's," says Niki Leondakis, chief operating officer for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. "Sabre has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to improving guest experience and creating incremental revenue opportunities through leading functionality, connectivity and partnerships for their customers."
