InterContinental's Dubai Properties Get Delphi Conference Planning
The InterContinental Hotels Group will manage the sale and delivery of events and conferences at the Intercontinental and Crowne Plaza hotels at Dubai Festival City using the Delphi Multi-Property Edition sales and banqueting solution from Newmarket International; the properties will open during the second quarter of 2007.
The Group expects the software to be central to their purpose of establishing the Dubai Festival City properties as Middle East destinations for groups, conferences, and events. Tom Meyer, area general manager, InterContinental Hotels Group, Dubai Festival City, states, "The InterContinental and Crowne Plaza hotels at Dubai Festival City represent a key component of our global growth plan.
