INNCOM to Debut Modular Guestroom Control Device at HD Expo 2010

This week INNCOM International unveils its next generation of guestroom controls that takes its popular "Glass Series" to new levels.

MODEVA is an easy to use lighting, drape, and amenities control system that provides an unrivaled guestroom management experience. It allows guest control of multiple loads from many locations.

With an unprecedented modular design, the guest-facing device boasts heightened functionality and customization to accommodate new construction and retrofit hotel projects with equal ease, and the solution's artistic look and feel can meet nearly any design requirements conceived for the hotel guestroom.

System in a box
In combination with the load assemblies, MODEVA consists of user interfaces, low voltage interfaces, wired and wireless communications, dimmers, and wall box switches designed to operate within INNCOM's Integrated Room Automation System (IRAS). MODEVA brings all guestroom control features into a sleekly designed system housed in either a capacitive glass or a more traditional keypad user interface.

The MODEVA switch itself contains all of the hardware components (including logic operations, radio communications, and user interface functionality) to operate as a low voltage controls interface within a thin assembly that rests outside of the wall box cavity. This brings an incredible advantage to the MODEVA system by allowing it to be decoupled safely from the line power switching and dimming performed by the system's load assemblies.

The MODEVA line of devices offers the ease of installing load assemblies in the same traditional gang box infrastructure familiar to electrical installers. These load assemblies are available in various designs to accommodate relays, triacs and MOSFET platforms. These can be mixed and matched to be installed in double and triple gang boxes. The load assemblies can also be wired with low voltage communication or equipped with wireless transceivers.

The guest facing user interfaces can be touch capacitance glass or more traditional keypad interfaces. They can include nightlights with arrays of LED's, dimmer slide bars and switching capability for lighting, temperature, drapes and guest annunciation.

MODEVA will be on display at Booth No. 2251 at the 2010 Hospitality Design Exposition & Conference (HD Expo), May 19-21 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas.
