Hyatt Corporation announces the selection of WinPM from Multi-Systems, Inc. as the technology hub for all Hyatt Place properties.
MSI's designed a point of sale application called Place Point specifically to meet the needs of Hyatt Place's 24-hour food availability. Place Point boasts two hybrids, including: Self Service and Retail. The Self-Service module allows hotel guests to select menu items through touch screen technology and settle charges directly to the guest folio by swiping their room key or settle directly with a credit card. The Retail solution allows the Gallery Hosts the ability to settle transactions for guests at the counter.

"These guests are especially technologically savvy so it was crucial for Hyatt Place to provide technological solutions that complemented our service platform and MSI was a perfect match."
Additional MSI technology includes an interface between WinPM and the guest registration kiosks, and WinPM provides functionality to accommodate guests who can now use their Gold Passport cards at Hyatt Place.
