Hotel Sax Chicago Creates High Tech Luxury Suites

The Hotel Sax Chicago announces that as part of its $25 million renovation efforts, it has turned its Presidential Suites into centers of cutting-edge technology. In each of the 15th and 16th floor suites, guests will find a variety of technologies that combine productivity, information gathering and entertainment, all through the hotel's alliance with Microsoft.

Each of the suites is outfitted with multiple flat-screen televisions, a surround sound audio system, an XBox 360 Elite gaming system, a Microsoft Zune MP3 player and laptop computers.

The 16th floor Presidential Suite offers the largest of the Hotel Sax's plasma screens, measuring in at 65 inches, and a LifeWare home-automation system - connected through a Windows Vista Media Center PC - which allows guests to run lights and media via a remote control.

Located within walking distance of the Chicago River in the city's Marina City, the 353-room hotel offers high-tech room amenities and meeting areas with access to six restaurants, a 25,000 square foot fitness facility, the upscale 10 Pin bowling lounge, and the world-renowned House of Blues music venue.

The Hotel Sax Chicago is managed by Gemstone Hotels and Resorts International, LLC.
