In May 2011, Hotel Del Coronado,
an iconic Victorian resort and spa near San Diego implemented PSAV
to manage the onsite event technology services. Due to PSAV's proven track record of providing exceptional service to the Del's sister properties, and in order to deliver consistency in service and equipment across the enterprise, corporate management determined it was time to upgrade its onsite event technology services.
One of the major advantages of the transition was that PSAV brought completely new equipment to the facility. This has enhanced the overall presentation of events.
Being an older property, the Hotel Del Coronado had previously had Internet issues. Now that PSAV is managing the high-speed Internet for guestrooms as well as meeting rooms, all issues have been resolved. When an event plans for more bandwidth, PSAV is able to pull what is needed from other areas to support the group and re-allocate it back when the meeting concludes for the day.
