HTNG’s Launches the 2017 TechOvation Contest

11/18/2016
Hotel Technology Next Generation (HTNG) announced the launch of the 2017 TechOvation Contest. This year’s competition will bring back everything industry professionals love about the contest, and also include some new and exciting features. In addition to live presentations at HT-NEXT, all contestants will now participate in a qualifying round by submitting fun and creative videos of their product online.

The 90-second videos by contestants will showcase their product and its potential impact on the hospitality industry. The videos will be hosted on HTNG’s YouTube channel, where all HTNG members (and nonmembers) are encouraged to watch and “like” the videos they deem to be the most innovative.

The three videos with the most “likes,” along with seven videos selected by the judging panel, will advance to present their products live at HT-NEXT. At the conference, three finalists will be chosen by the judging panel and the winner will then be selected in a live audience vote.

HT-NEXT will take place April 10-13, 2017 at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. HT-NEXT unites two industry leading events, HTNG North American Conference and HT’s Hotel Technology Forum, into one immersive networking and educational event for hotel executives and solution providers.

Companies and individuals are encouraged to participate as a contestant, or help select the winner by “liking” videos online and voting at the HT-NEXT Conference.

The TechOvation Award was created to recognize and reward technology innovation in the hospitality industry. The contest offers outstanding visibility and provides excellent promotional opportunities. For more information, visit HTNG’s TechOvation Webpage or contact HTNG at [email protected].
