HT Opens Nominations for 2014 Breakthrough Awards
Hospitality Technology magazine is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Breakthrough Awards to be presented at the 10 annual Restaurant Executive Summit with the theme of “Feeding Consumers with a #Digital @ppetite.” The Breakthrough Awards honor foodservice companies for outstanding achievement in business innovation. The awards are presented to operators for leveraging groundbreaking operations, technology and/or marketing strategies to improve customer engagement and/or the overall enterprise.
Awards are given in two categories:
Enterprise Innovator (Presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology beyond standard practice to improve overall restaurant operations. Results should reveal an increase or marked improvement in efficiency, cost savings, etc. Areas of innovation can include, but are not limited to: back-office and/or front-of-house applications, labor management, point-of-sale technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise-grade mobile applications.)
Customer Engagement Innovator (Presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology to increase guest satisfaction, loyalty, and/or brand reputation. Potential concepts can include, but are not limited to: mobile applications, social networking, loyalty and CRM.)

Winners will be chosen and notified on or about August 1, 2014, and the awards will be presented at the Restaurant Executive Summit, November 3-5 at The Ritz-Carlton in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The Restaurant Executive Summit is an invitation-only event brings senior-level executives from high-growth restaurant companies together to exchange powerful insights for preserving financial health at their companies, and positioning their brands for growth.
