FelCor Lodging Trust to Standardize Rooms to RFID Locks
FelCor Lodging Trust will install Saflok™ Quantum RFID locks and System 6000 central access control in five properties in California, Florida, and Louisiana. FelCor standardized its guestroom door locks on Saflok Quantum RFID units and the System 6000 centralized access control system for all property renovations.
FelCor Lodging Trust is based in Irving, Texas and owns 62 properties with Hilton, Marriott, and other flags. The company will install Kaba Saflok Quantum RFID locks at the Embassy Suites Waterfront in Burlingame, CA, the Wyndham New Orleans French Quarter in Louisiana, Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Holiday Inn Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco, California, and the Wyndham San Diego. Installations are scheduled for 4Q’13 and 1Q 2014.
FelCor also uses Kaba’s System 6000 Central Access Control that interfaces to property management systems to add another layer of security and reporting.
The Quantum sectional trim lock has a contemporary two-piece modular design that offers attractive contemporary aesthetics and reliable RFID functionality. Saflok’s advanced Quantum RFID contactless locks are sealed with fewer moving parts and door lock reliability is ensured with the Saflok Quantum RFID system.
