Fantasy Springs Resort Selects Inventory Solution

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino announces the selection of the Material Management System, an inventory and procurement solution from Agilysys.

"We needed a more sophisticated solution for managing vendor purchases and material inventories," says Joe Callahan, chief financial officer, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.

Specifically the 250-room hotel & casino will utilize the MMS Menu/Recipe Analysis Module, which allows for automatic costing of recipes based on receipts and determination of which items bring the highest return on investment; and the MMS Bar Coding Module, which transmits data from handheld scanners to the resort's inventory system.

"The Agilysys solution will provide our management team access to more reliable and accurate information, which will help us negotiate better pricing and move the hotel casino closer to a •just-in-time' inventory," says Callahan.
