Domina Hotel Group to Measure Property Market Performance for its Portfolio of Hotels with Competitive Intelligence Reporting Tool

Leading Italian Hotel Group, Domina, has selected Utell's MarketVision - Agency Position reporting to measure their properties' market performance against that of their key competitors.

The recent decision to implement MarketVision - Agency Position across the board for all Domina properties followed a successful trial period carried out by the Domina Hotel Rotterdam. The hotel discovered it was able to gather key current information about its business and that of its competitors as well as looking both backwards and forwards. With this, the hotel had all the information needed to effect change and influence future bookings for the better.

Founded in 2000, Domina Hotel Group has properties in six different countries (Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, Hungary, Latvia and Estonia) with a total of ten four-star hotels catering to both business and leisure travelers.

"MarketVision - Agency Position is a truly remarkable product. In a simple, easy to understand and practical format, it provides the most important information for our sales team. In fact, in just a few minutes we have all the data we need for our markets, such as volumes, competitive set performance, producing agencies and their contacts. Planning sales calls cannot be easier," says Frank Camilleri, vice president sales and marketing for the Domina Hotel Group.

MarketVision - Agency Position will enable Domina Hotels to evaluate business arriving into the specific area where their hotels are located. This in turn will help to focus their sales strategy towards key players and main channels in those same areas

Utell's MarketVision - Agency Position reporting was launched in partnership with Rubicon in January this year. Data used in the reports is sourced from Pegasus Solutions' industry-leading UltraSwitch, which processes reservations for 90,000 hotels, handling more than 49 million bookings annually, representing over 100 million room nights and in excess of $15 billion in hotel revenue. Switch data is then complemented with data sourced from Rubicon.
