Danubius to Manage 56 Properties with Micros Suite

Budapest-based Danubius Hotels Group announces that it has elected to manage operations at its 56 hotels with the MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System and OPERA Central Systems solutions.

The OPERA component includes OPERA Customer Information System, OPERA Reservation System, OPERA Sales Force Administration, OPERA Web Services, and myfidelio.net.

The initial deployment of 38 hotels will occur in Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, UK, and later in its hotels in Romania. The complete roll out is scheduled to be completed between September 2008 and November 2009.

Offering diverse facilities, including spas, business and conference accommodations, meeting rooms, and fitness centers, Danubius required an all-inclusive POS and Central Systems solution capable of managing large, complex operations for its entire hotel chain.
