Cultuzz Now Connects Channel Mgmt System to Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan, Galileo and Pegasus

Cultuzz Digital Media has linked its channel management system CultSwitch to the four Global Distribution Systems (GDS) Amadeus, Sabre, Worldspan and Galileo, as well as to the Pegasus Online Distribution Database (ODD). From now on, the partner hotels of Cultuzz can reach virtually every travel agency worldwide as well as all online travel agencies connected to the GDS and their thousands of affiliate sites.

Due to the XML connection, all hotels can directly transmit their distribution data from their hotel software (PMS) or from any other system linked to CultSwitch to the GDS. All relevant pieces of information like room availabiltities, rates, surcharges or reductions, cancellation policy, payment methods, room discriptions and images can be transferred from the PMS of the hotel to CultSwitch. CultSwitch forwards the data in fully automated processes to the distribution systems or initiates a manual maintenance process, i.e. for images. In turn the PMS of the hotel automatically receives the bookings generated by the travel agencies.

By linking CultSwitch to the GDS, Cultuzz Digital Media further pushes the possibilities of an efficient online distribution for its partner hotels. Along with the GDS, the most important booking platforms such as HRS, booking, hotel.de, eBay and ehotel as well as the destination management systems Tiscover and Wild-East are connected to CultSwitch. Furthermore, CultBooking, the free-of-charge online reservation system of Cultuzz that can be implemented into the hotels websites, is linked to CultSwitch.
