Crystal Point POS Integrates with TransNet Payment Engine

Precidia Technologies Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of Internet Protocol (IP) payment and networking products, announced today that its TransNet payment engine application has been integrated with the Crystal Point restaurant POS system from Prime Dine Systems. By choosing TransNet for integrated payments, restaurant operators can take advantage of full featured payments, including unique monitoring and management tools that are customized to the needs of the restaurant industry.

The TransNet payment engine software seamlessly integrates with POS systems like Crystal Point for secure, PCI PA-DSS validated payment processing. Precidia's payment system features a unique router-based model, with the TransNet hardware housed on the secure, SSL encrypted and firewalled POSLynx220 payment router. The TransNet/POSLynx220 integrated payment solution is pre-certified to a range of credit, debit, loyalty and gift card transaction processors.

Precidia's solution also offers a suite of management tools designed to facilitate 24/7 support of the restaurant from any location. These tools include the NetVu management server and MerchantVu restaurant-level portal. With them, many common tasks are simplified. For example, help desks can access a device remotely to determine device and network status. New units can be deployed remotely, downloading their configuration when plugged in. Restaurant operators can view transactions by server, card type and date. Alerts can be sent by email, pager or text message for network failure or suspicious transactions.
