Chili's Grill & Bar Launches App to Let Guests Get in Line Remotely

Chili’s® Grill & Bar has selected NoWait to power the brand’s new mobile waitlisting app. Rolling out nationwide in the summer of 2015, NoWait enables guests to search local Chili’s restaurants, understand the wait time to be seated and add their names remotely to a restaurant’s real-time seating list.
 
In addition to the aforementioned benefits, NoWait’s technology enables guests to track their place in line and simply show up when their table is scheduled to be ready, giving them back the time that otherwise would be lost waiting at a crowded restaurant that does not accept reservations.
 
“Chili’s is continuously looking to technology as a way to enhance the guest experience both inside and outside our restaurants,” said Wade Allen, Vice President of Digital Innovation and Customer Engagement for Chili’s Grill & Bar. “With the addition of NoWait to Chili’s mobile app, we are putting convenience and speed at our guests’ fingertips before they even walk through our doors.”
 
The NoWait guest app is a complementary extension of the NoWait host app, which currently is used in casual-dining restaurants across the country, including major national chains such as Chili’s, as well as popular independent hotspots. To date, NoWait has seated more than 130 million diners and regularly seats more than 10 million diners every month.
