Boston Pizza Updates Call Center Software

| February 13, 2007

Boston Pizza International Inc., Canada's largest casual dining brand, announces that they are updating their Edmonton-based call center from a UNIX-based system to new software from POS provider SpeedLine.

"Equipping our call center with SpeedLine software will help us grow our business," says Kelly McClung, business manager for Boston Pizza's Northern Alberta corporate office.

The software is expected to reduce the number of errors and omissions which in turn result in customer callbacks to confirm correct information.

"SpeedLine ensures that the call center operator selects all the appropriate sides and options before sending the order to the store, so things don't get missed," explains McClung. "With fewer callbacks tying up phone lines, the call center will be able to handle more calls. That will increase our business overall."
