Berns Salonger Selects Newmarket International's Delphi Solution

Berns Salonger, a premier destination for entertainment and culture, implements Newmarket's Delphi sales and catering solution to improve the company's reporting and forecasting and enable the Berns sales organization to proactively sell group business.

With seven function rooms and two 4-star restaurants, Berns Salonger required a flexible system to manage its group sales and catering business. Management required a system that would provide transparency into the sources of business and enable them to cultivate business relationships for future events.

"The reporting capabilities are the main reason we selected Delphi," says Annika Frisch, marketing director, Berns Salonger. "With Delphi, at just a click of a button, we're now able to run reports quickly and pull information we need to see. Before Delphi, we had to take multiple steps in order to extract data from one system and input into another. What took hours with our old system will now just take minutes in Delphi."

In addition to better reporting, Berns Salonger will be able to forecast their business more accurately. "The forecast tools in Delphi will allow us to go after business and be proactive," adds Frisch. "In the past we were reactive. We would manually cull together reports to see the gaps in occupancy. With Delphi we can see our business one week, one month, even one year out." Berns Salonger is expected to see a less than 24-month return on their investment with Delphi.
