Amadeus Sells off PMS Hotel Division

Amadeus, a travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, confirms the sale of its Property Management (PMS) division to SoftBrands.

"Amadeus divestment of the Hotel PMS business, which focuses on the small and independent hotels, will enable the company to concentrate efforts on delivering an integrated Hotel IT platform targeted to large and mid-sized hotel chains, the Amadeus Hotel Platform," says Claude Giafferri, Vice President, Global Customers IT Solutions, Amadeus.

Amadeus remains fully committed to cater for all types of hotels (large and small) for its hotel GDS distribution, hotel representation and Revenue Management Systems (RMS) businesses.
