Aloft Montreal Airport Selects TimeLox Locking System
The Aloft Montreal Airport hotel in Dorval, Quebec installs TimeLox's DC-One dual-card (magnetic stripe and smartcard) locking system. The Aloft is the first property worldwide to open under this new hotel brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.

By installing DC-One, the 136-room property can enjoy the unique advantages that both magnetic stripe and smartcard locking technologies offer, while maximizing security for the hotel and its guests. By combining the economy and reliability of magnetic stripe keycards with the flexibility of smartcard technology, DC-One not only makes hotel staff functions easier to perform, but it also decreases the overall workload for the hotel.
The sectional trim lock installed by TimeLox at the Aloft Montreal Airport features minimal door hardware and designers' collection door handles. The unique two-piece design will also allow for the possibility to upgrade to contactless RFID electronic locks in the future as easily as exchanging the card reader module — without changing the handles, door prep or mortise.
