8th Annual Hotel Technology Forum Slated for April 2012

| March 15, 2012

Hospitality Technology magazine's Hotel Technology Forum (HTF) will convene in Las Vegas April 18-20, 2012, at The Cosmopolitan Hotel for three days of focused educational sessions and a wealth of valuable networking opportunities designed to help lodging executives focus on issues that are most critical to their businesses.

As the hospitality industry rebounds and responds to current social, economic and technology trends, the 2012 Forum puts true best-in-class ideas and industry success stories at the forefront for its 125+ high-level, hotel executive attendees, who will gain strategic insights into and actionable information on topics that will help them tackle today's challenges and put their companies on the right track for growth in 2012 and beyond.

Educational session topics are centered around this year's Forum theme, High-Speed Innovation: Navigating the Lodging Technology Revolution, and include "Best Practices for Mobile & Social Success," "Cloud Computing: Solving Today’s Challenges," "Fighting the Security War," and "Tackling the Guestroom’s Biggest Challenges." Attendees will also have exclusive access to brand new landmark research -- the 2012 Lodging Study -- which details the hottest trends and technologies affecting the lodging industry.

The opening keynote address, "The Art of Negotiation: Expectation Impacts Outcome," will be presented by Bill Garcia, Managing Partner, TableForce LLC. The second day keynote speaker, Bruce Hoffmeister, Global CIO, Marriot International, will discuss "Management Excellence for IT Leaders."

In addition, HTF will debut Speed Networking, facilitated by John Wilkinson, CEO of Thoughtwav. This session will allow attendees to connect with the vendors and operator peers that matter the most to them. Meetings are determined based on each attendee’s responses to a business-matchmaking profile and will facilitate the forming of new business alliances, learning about the newest technologies, discussion of top-of-mind trends, and more.
