MyCity Alerts allows businesses the opportunity to target potential customers who are located within a five mile radius of their business. Business owners can send free coupons, discounts, special invitations and more to a user's cell phone.
MyCity.com supports restaurants, bars, and other small businesses. Currently MyCity.com has over 90,000 registered members. MyCity Alerts allows these members to receive text messages on their phone from businesses looking to earn their business. Users have the ability to set the frequency of incoming messages, turn on/off the Alerts, as well as select coupons based upon their interest. The patent pending technology reads the users GPS settings and only sends them messages when they are in close proximity to the business.
