Nominations Now Open! | Deadline: August 1, 2014
Presented live at Hospitality Technology’s Restaurant Executive Summit, November 3-5, 2014 | The Ritz-Carlton | Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Hospitality Technology magazine is now accepting nominations for the 2014 Breakthrough Awards. The Breakthrough Awards honor foodservice companies for outstanding achievement in business innovation. The awards are presented to operators for leveraging groundbreaking operations, technology and/or marketing strategies to improve customer engagement and/or the overall enterprise.
Awards are given in two categories:
Enterprise Innovator (Presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology beyond standard practice to improve overall restaurant operations. Results should reveal an increase or marked improvement in efficiency, cost savings, etc. Areas of innovation can include, but are not limited to: back-office and/or front-of-house applications, labor management, point-of-sale technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise-grade mobile applications.)
Customer Engagement Innovator (Presented to the company that has leveraged a specific strategy or technology to increase guest satisfaction, loyalty, and/or brand reputation. Potential concepts can include, but are not limited to: mobile applications, social networking, loyalty and CRM.)
NOTE: If you are submitting a project that has had an impact on both customer-facing and enterprise environments, you may submit two separate nominations for the project, one in each category. However, each submission MUST present unique information and supporting details relevant to the respective category. DO NOT submit two identical submissions in each category.
To nominate a foodservice company, please fill out the following information no later than Friday, August 1, 2014. Entries may be self- or third-party nominated. There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be submitted by any one party, or for any one foodservice company. Restaurants may be nominated in more than one category, but each entry requires distinct information and examples to support each nomination. Winners will be judged based on compelling solutions and results, not on the number of nominations.
Winners will be chosen by Hospitality Technology’s editorial staff and members of the Research Advisory Board. The honorees will be notified on or about August 7, 2014. The awards will be presented live at the Restaurant Executive Summit, an invitation-only event that brings senior-level executives from high-growth foodservice companies together to share-real world strategies for excelling in a dynamic business climate. The Summit will take place November 3-5, at The Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
The winning restaurant companies MUST be able to send an executive to the Summit to accept the award.
Nomination Deadline is Friday, August 1, 2014. Submit Today!
