Jessie Burgess currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology and Contact Center Operations for G6 Hospitality, LLC, representing over 1100 economy hotels throughout the US and Canada. He is responsible for strategic leadership within these areas, with focus on long term growth, operational sustainability, and enhanced profitability of G6’s business. His key areas of responsibility include voice and data communications, network infrastructure, server systems, enterprise messaging, client technologies, mobile device management, and IT security. In addition, Jessie is responsible for leadership of the G6 Hospitality call center environment. Throughout his tenure at G6, Jessie has led numerous, business critical technology initiatives and his teams have frequently been recognized for bringing innovation and efficiency to G6 Hospitality’s technology environment.
Jessie also sits on the Management Committee of the KII Telecommunications consortium, responsible for strategic direction and contract management of telecommunications and cloud computing spend for more than 60 companies. In addition, Jessie serves on the Information Systems Industry Advisory Board for the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Prior to joining G6 Hospitality, Jessie served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, directing communications and computer systems. He is currently serving as the G6 Hospitality Military Veterans Champion, proudly supporting the increased recruitment, hiring, and retention of military veterans at G6.
Jessie holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Grambling State University, and earned his MBA with honors from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas.
